It’s the beginning of the New Year once again. There’s the expectation for psychics to predict upcoming events in 2012. Some of the expectations I’ve come across are predictions for the end of the world, earth changing events, what’s happening with celebrities and so forth.

And, no the world will not come to an end in December 2012. I don’t see a world-wide spiritual awakening either. The world will be the same on December 21 and beyond as it was on December 20, 2012. Everyone will be as intuitive on December 22 as they were on December 20 as well. Folks are looking for magic wands to heal the world and everything in it. It just doesn’t happen that way I’m afraid.

I don’t see much spirituality in the Middle East. There’s a difference between spirituality and religiosity. Continued violence and instability, but that’s nothing new. This has been going on for decades. There will just be a reorganizing of leadership, not necessarily to the benefit of regular folk there.

I know many people are interested in what’s happening with celebrities. I’m going to pass on celebrity predictions in this Article. I think there are more important things than the staged lives of celebrities. I think folks should concentrate on more spiritual aspects like love and compassion rather than celebrity gossip. My apologies if I sound a bit preachy here.

On the economic side, it’s going to be up and down. It’s really in the hands of specific country’s political leaders. You don’t have to be psychic to know which countries will fair better than others. All you need to do is watch the news. As long as political leaders in the Eurozone and North America aren’t influenced by rioters in these areas, they have a better chance for positive economic outcomes for their respective countries. Canada will do better relative to the other world economies.

Those that put their financial houses in order will do much better than those that do not. The politicians that place the public good and all citizens they govern above their desire to stay in office can have a positive influence on their respective economies. Decisions that are made today can still effect tomorrow.

Those are all the predictions for this Article. Might I suggest that we all regularly direct our thoughts and prayers to heal the world and all in it. Be a light by being an example. I wish everyone health, happiness and true prosperity in 2012.

Psychometry is a psychic ability that many if not all people use unconsciously in their daily lives. What is psychometry you may well ask? Merriam Webster’s online dictionary defines it as “divination of facts concerning an object or its owner through contact with or proximity to the object “Personally I would not use the term divination. I would rather describe it as the utilization of one’s psychic faculties to obtain information about an object or owner of an object

Further “it seems to be a property of matter that it carries with it permanently, as a sort of influence or aura, a complete history of itself.” [A. Campbell Holms, The Facts of Psychic Science (New Hyde Park, New York: University Books 1969), p. 93]

The word psychometry means soul measurement from the Greek: psyche = soul and metron =measure. Dr. Joseph Rodes Buchanan coined the term psychometry. He also had an association with First Spiritual Temple. It says it’s the oldest Christian Spiritualist Church in the world.

“Dr. Buchanan said that psychometry was a science….
That everything that has ever existed, every object, scene, event, that has occurred since the beginning of the world, has left on the ether or astral light a trace of its being. Not only on the ether, but likewise on more palpable objects, trees and stones and all manner of things.” (Lewis Spence, Encyclopedia of Occultism, 1960, p. 333.)

Let’s look at the practical aspects of psychometry. Ever not wanted to part with an item? Does it remind you of a special time or a special person? That’s psychometry coming in to play. There are some folks in society that can’t part with things (sometimes to the extreme) because that’s their physical journal of their lives. Although these folks can remember special occasions this way, it may get out of hand.

Although all too often I have found that some people think that psychometry is some sort of parlor trick or game, it has so many wonderful benefits in terms of helping the world.

This unconscious psychic ability has been a great source of comfort to those who have suffered a bereavement. Unknowingly or unwittingly the bereaved have been performing psychometry when they have held objects such as clothing of a loved one who has crossed over. They feel a connection if not the presence of the loved one now in the Afterlife. If the presence of the loved one is felt, the bereaved is actually performing mediumship. Psychometry can be a stepping stone to unfolding mediumship. It can certainly be a wonderful tool.

Spiritual healers in Spiritualist Churches who perform a type of laying on of hands often connect to information about the person on the healing chair whether they touch them or not. One can also obtain information from shaking someone’s hand in any setting.

Speaking of Spiritualist Churches as a point of interest, Christian Spiritualists use the Bible passage KJV version John 4: 14-19 to support psychometry . That’s why many if not all Christian Spiritualist Churches perform psychometry within their services.

Lets move along to another field where psychometry is employed, law enforcement. An object or photo is given to the psychometrist to obtain information about the subject. I’m sure we can think of many instances on television where we’ve seen this technique used.

I agree with the infinite possibilities Dr. Buchanan spoke of when he said: “…the discoveries of psychometry will enable us to explore the history of man, as those of geology enable us to explore the history of the earth. There are mental fossils for psychologists as well as mineral fossils for the geologists; and I believe that hereafter the psychologist and the geologist will go hand in hand, the one portraying the earth, its animals and its vegetation, while the other portrays the human beings who have roamed over its surface in the shadows, in the darkness of primeval barbarism. Aye, the mental telescope is now discovered which may pierce the depths of the past and bring us in full view of the grand and tragic passages of ancient history.” (J Rhodes Buchanan, Encyclopedia of Psychic Science, 1966, p. 39)

Of course, this could only happen with the widespread acceptance of the accuracy of psychometry. And as with all psychometrics, it depends on the ability and accuracy of the psychometrist .

There are so many possibilities with psychometry. Most folks are doing it and don’t even know it. Give it a try or acknowledge it if you recognize that you’re doing it. You’re tapping into your psychic or mediumistic self. I think that’s a good thing.

While Modern Spiritualism has no Dogmas or Creeds per se, there are two fairly widely used sets of Principles. Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand mostly use those brought forward through the mediumship of one of the pioneers of Spiritualism Emma Hardinge Britten (pictured above). There is some conflicting information about her Principles, whether or not the Spirit of Robert Owen communicated them to Britten( This information may be found on Psypioneer’s website.)

Spiritualists in the U.S.A. use a different set of Principles adopted and revised at various points in history by the National Spiritualist Association of Churches. Both sets of Principles are in no way fixed. Independent Churches and Organizations may or may not use them, but may have variations on them. Christian Spiritualist Churches, for example, may use references to the Bible additionally.

Spiritualists seem to be free and independent thinkers as evidenced by the many Independent Churches, Organizations and Centers that can be found on the internet.

It’s the Christmas season once again. This time of year makes me reflect more on spirituality and what real wealth is because of the power shopping that goes on. The frenzied shopping has begun with post Thanksgiving sales. The acquisition of mountains of things is especially highlighted for me at this time of year.

I think people have lost sight of what’s really important. North American society seems to have turned into shopping junkies. The economy is based on unhealthy consumerism in my opinion. This has caused the economic problems we are facing today.

I don’t find anything wrong with giving gifts symbolizing the love and affection that we feel for our friends and family. What I think is very self destructive is shopping so much that it causes financial strain often through unnecessary credit card debt.

I think an economy based on what I call shopaholicism or frenzied consumerism is very unhealthy. It is bad not only for our pocket books, but bad for our psychological health and the environment.

The psychological ill health comes from worrying about how to pay for the unnecessary things where we’ve overspent. For some their self worth and esteem is measured by what they have or don’t have. And, the companies who cause that feeling of low self esteem are those that are trying to sell us something. I shake my head when I’m shown a piece of cheap vinyl or plastic made offshore for pennies that is grossly overpriced because it has some “designer” name on it. I’m supposed to be impressed by this. I’m not.

The bad for the environment part comes in because in North America we have become a throw away society, filling up land fills with the junk we buy. Nothing is made to last anymore, so we have to keep buying things to replace broken things. We also don’t repair things much anymore, just buy new. That all ends up in land fills. Same things happen when fads are followed. Have to keep buying new “in” things so have to throw out the old out of fashion things. Really bad for the environment.

Nowadays many people think that if they don’t have the latest tech gadget they’re deprived. Sometimes the way some people talk I think that it’s going to come to people thinking they’re deprived if they don’t have 2 Hummers in the driveway of their palatial home. Advertisers make people think they lack everything. That’s what motivates people to buy.

Today many people judge others by what they have (whether its designer, expensive, current fad etc.) and not by who they are. Not very spiritually evolved in my opinion.

Marketers seem to have made giving cash socially unacceptable. One must opt for a gift card (essentially cash) at a retailer. A gift card often has fees and an expiry date . Cash doesn’t, it’s good everywhere. Put cash in a pretty envelope or gift bag, better that way I think.

We’ve gotten away from what really matters. We abandon our elderly to nursing or retirement homes without advocating on their behalf not because it is beyond us to look after them, but in the majority of cases because it crimps our lifestyles. Why anyone would think that strangers would look after or love our parents, grandparents like we do is beyond me.

North Americans have deconstructed the extended family again because it interferes with lifestyles. This has caused the dismantling of our family support systems. These cannot be replaced by strangers in institutions. Horrors if we cannot go shopping and run up credit cards!

Our society has thrown those with medical conditions whether mental illness, substance abuse or just bad luck onto the streets to fend for themselves with only struggling charities providing band-aid solutions.

The way we treat animals is also a testament as to how we’ve evolved. Gandhi said “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. I don’t think society has progressed much morally with all the abandoned animals in high kill shelters and rescue groups. The way animals and fish are farmed and slaughtered in the most horrendous conditions speaks volumes about the moral progress of North Americans. My personal choice is to be vegetarian.

These are but a few examples of what’s gone wrong with North American Society.

Many “spiritual” groups have focused on teaching that we are all entitled to vast riches beyond our imagination rather than what real spiritual wealth is.

Spiritually speaking real wealth is love and compassion towards our family, friends, humanity, animals and the environment. And not just lip service or writing a small check every now and again to charity. That’s the easy way and does not help one bit in our spiritual evolution. What really counts is when we are actually doers and live our lives with love and compassion. Objects cannot give anyone a hug, or share laughter or sadness.

Whether Here or the Hereafter in the grand scheme of things as it relates to the universe, we are evaluated on the basis of how we have lived rather than the stuff we have acquired over our lifetimes. The lives we live Here (through reincarnation) or Hereafter depends on it as well. Our soul’s progress depends on it.

As we shop till we drop this Christmas, perhaps we could reflect on these things and refer back to what Christmas giving was all about in St. Nicholas to Santa Claus . Spirituality not things matters all year long.

Over the summer I have had the opportunity to observe a few different styles of mediumship and psychic readings being demonstrated at events I had attended. I have found what I have seen a bit disturbing. I thought about whether to Blog about this for a long time. I came to the decision to state my views on what I had seen. For the record what I’m about to describe is not what I do.

There apparently is a style of mediumship that is being taught and demonstrated in the United Kingdom, in Canada and perhaps elsewhere where the Medium or Psychic stands up in a room full of people and “receives” some type of supernatural communication. I’ll use Worker to describe the individual that is demonstrating mediumship or psychic readings.

The Worker does not go to an individual and deliver the communication/information to a specific recipient. The Worker rather stands in front of an audience (could be fifty people or more) and asks whether anyone can place the information. Hands go up and through a process of elimination plus multiple questions and answers, the recipient in the audience is located maybe. Further questions and answers ensue to finally arrive at the information to be conveyed to the recipient. This procedure takes quite a long time. I have heard of it referred to as the “indirect method”.

I don’t know who decided that this style of communicating was something to be promoted or when. But it reflects badly on the authenticity of mediumship/Spiritualism and psychic communications in my opinion. The workers at best look like they’re guessing. At worst they look like frauds. Likely those using this style have good intentions. It’s that I strongly disagree with this “method” as should we all in my opinion for the reasons I’m about to describe.

Detractors and malingers of psychics and mediums/Spiritualists have always said that psychics, mediums, and Spiritualists are frauds. This includes Harry Houdini. It is due to what I have described above. It is called Cold Reading and/or Fishing . Cold Reading methods are the same as what I have described in the previous paragraphs of this post. You can buy any number of books on the subject on the internet. Con artists, magicians, and carnival fortunetellers have used this method since Harry Houdini’s time, perhaps even earlier.

There is also a magician on the internet whose mission is to stamp out frauds. I prefer not to advertise his name. You can read more about this magician on Victor Zammit’s website. Mr. Zammit has done a fine job making a case for genuine mediumship in my opinion. This particular magician’s mission seems to be to expose those who do cold readings/fishing. He targets everyone including Spiritualists.

Spiritualists in particular have worked very hard over many years and endured much in order to establish credibility. Sadly, there was some fraud early on in the Spiritualist Movement. It has been an uphill battle to overcome the misconceptions about mediumship and to gain credibility and respectability where the public has been concerned. I believe this has been eroded and will continue to erode so long as methods indistinguishable from cold reading/fishing are being taught and promoted.

When any official Spiritualist Body promotes something that is identical to what con artists use, it sets Spiritualism back and to say it reflects badly on Spiritualism is an understatement. I gather this has been going on for a while in some places.

I also think that Spiritualists/mediums and psychics from the United Kingdom (U.K.) need to familiarize themselves with the laws when they work abroad. There is no requirement in Canada for instance to call something that is part of a religious service or religious teaching an experiment. I gather that is something new that is required by law in the U.K. The same applies if Canadian Spiritualists are traveling abroad and are working as mediums. The laws of the land should be followed in any given country.

Has anyone in the United Kingdom made the connection between the new laws governing Spiritualism a couple of years ago that I think resulted in part from the similarity of demonstrations to Fishing/Cold readings? The Law I’m referring to is The Fraudulent Mediums Act.

I often reflect is it any wonder why attendance at Spiritualist Churches is dwindling with such widespread media focus and attention brought to mediumship by celebrity mediums and psychics? People come to Spiritualist Churches in this day and age for accuracy and professional comportment. They don’t come back when both are lacking. Certainly, they won’t come back if they’re being interviewed or quizzed rather than being given information that’s been received through authentic psychic mediumship. This has been my observation over the years.

My psychic faculties tell me that the fishing style will dwindle eventually. It will require much criticism of the Spiritualist Movement to end this practice of imitating Fishing/Cold Reading in the United Kingdom and other places it might be practiced.

I strongly suggest that anyone who wants to study Spiritualism, mediumship, and psychic development find a group that doesn’t teach the fishing/cold reading style. Many of the same things apply when selecting education as in my previous Article “Choosing The Right Psychic Medium.” I also strongly urge those who are promoting the Fishing/Colding reading practices to stop.

If you are an authentic medium or psychic, you should be able to find the person in the room that you need to speak to and communicate the information without constant questioning of the audience. The same applies to private consultations. In my opinion, if you cannot, then you’re not ready and/or are not authentic.

While I’ve often said in many Blog posts that no one is immune from life or its lessons, including psychics and mediums, from time to time I do receive psychic and mediumistic insights from the spirit/spiritual realm on many topics and themes. However, conclusions shouldn’t be drawn that I receive these insights on anything and everything all the time. And, I have no magic wand or pill for life’s challenges that we all experience. I have said this many times. And, I can’t repeat it often enough. There are spiritual reasons for many of life’s challenges as I’ve also said many times throughout my Blog.

I will and have shared those insights that I have received when appropriate from those who dwell in the higher levels of consciousness or planes of existence. So what I’ve been doing is posting some of them on Twitter as my opinions (some I consider expert opinions), the very condensed versions at least. These psychic-mediumistic-spiritual insights do rightly fall under the heading of opinions I believe.

There have been many insights and inspirations that I have received from the Spirit World(a.k.a. Heaven, Afterlife) over the course of my Blog. Some are what I call universal insights in that one can relate to them regardless of the time frame. Others apply to specific times and topics. I believe there is quite a lot of helpful information that has been written so far and is still relevant today. I’ve been Blogging since 2006 (can hardly believe it myself) so there’s been quite an accumulation of information over approximately 4 years as of the date of this Blog post.

As I’m inspired and impressed from the Spirit World, I will continue to write Blog articles as I can expand on subjects using this format. Sometimes, condensed versions are more appropriate and timely where Twitter is more appropriate.

I invite you all to read through the Archives. I believe you’ll find something to interest you. If you have read my Articles/Posts regularly, I believe there will always be something that will stand out, a kind of “oh yeah!” or “I forgot about that” moment. I find I get different things out of material I’ve read before at different times. It depends on what resonates at the time I find.

Just a reminder, you can follow me one of two ways, either on Twitter or my Google Group entitled Intuitive Power. Both have RSS feeds so you don’t have to join. The Google Group also has an email subscription capability. You may find it a little easier to “bookmark” the Blog so to speak. The same applies to the Spiritualist Connections Group for those interested in Spiritualism from the Religious aspect. There are free short meditations/affirmations and music there. Both Group subscriptions can be found on the Group Page of my Blog. And, of course, you can submit your comments (subject to Terms of Use) about any Article I post on my Blog.

Was there Eternal Life before Jesus is something to ponder? The short answer is yes. There are certain denominations of Christians who believe there was nothing before the coming of the Christ.

Christian Spiritualism’s perspective seems to be different. Christian Spiritualists while following the teachings of the Christ, believing that He was the greatest Medium that ever was, do not necessarily believe that there was a void where everything was in limbo before Christ’s coming. The Universe has always had a natural order with God (whatever term you prefer to use), an omnipotent presence governing through Natural Law. This Natural Law is infinite. Human beings are the only ones that have placed God in a narrow box. Humanity has found it very difficult to think outside the box. Hence, we have had philosophers who have done it for humans throughout the ages.

The Universe operates on Natural Laws, God’s laws if you will. Some laws we know and understand. Others are beyond our comprehension. Space exploration and powerful telescopes have expanded our horizons and knowledge exponentially, as has Quantum Physics. Many have embraced the knowledge. Still many others live in the past, in denial and deliberate ignorance. The Universe has always been there in a time and space continuum beyond our comprehension. It is now being revealed to us as it has been in the past, the information being lost in time.

God would never allow any life form on Earth to vanish into nothingness either before or after the teachings of Jesus. Everything has its place in the Universe. Once our earthly journey is over, every living creature has a place in Heaven or the Afterlife. One’s place in Heaven or the Afterlife has always depended upon true spiritual qualities expressed in one’s life. Someone who has been good and kind, not through words, but actual deeds finds themselves in a higher level of existence or consciousness. One can have a lot of money, cars and possessions. That, however, will not give access to the higher planes in Heaven or the Afterlife. Those that have lived their lives negatively, violently, maliciously will find themselves with those at that level in the Afterlife. A mention should be made that if an individual’s bad conduct/character in life is a result of a physical disease such as fetal alcohol syndrome, brain disease/malfunction, their place in the Afterlife is determined absent of physical disease. These persons are treated differently. The Law of Cause and Effect or Karma plays a large role in determining life here in the physical as well as life in the hereafter.

There is a place for all animals, birds and underwater animals in Heaven as well. The focus of this Article will be on human beings, however.

As the door to reformation is never closed, everyone has a chance to redeem themselves as many times as necessary via reincarnation. This is truly a chance to get it right regardless how many incarnations are required. The Universe is one of justice so many individuals live lives of atonement with the opportunity for redemption by demonstrating acts of goodness to offset the bad if you will. As previously mentioned, the concept of Natural Law of Cause and Effect comes into play here. Or to put it another way, the Bible expresses it as sowing and reaping.

A few examples of Civilizations who believed, spoke and wrote about the existence of the Afterlife were ancient Greek Philosophers such as: Plato , Socrates and Pythagoras (some Spiritualists refer to these philosophers as the first spiritualists); ancient Egyptians who as we know went to great lengths to prepare for the Afterlife; ancient Chinese and Vietnamese peoples paid homage to their ancestors during Confucius’ time, a practice still performed today in some places in China; the Hindu religion with special mention of the Vedas (re: ancestors) also speaks at length about the order of the Universe, the Afterlife and Ancestors; Native Aboriginal Peoples of North America have diverse Afterlife beliefs as in the Iroquois and Dakota nations. All of the examples just mentioned predate Jesus and Modern Spiritualism for that matter by hundreds to thousands of years.

As time has passed and civilizations have co-mingled, it would seem that humans have incorporated many belief systems into current and past philosophies. There is even a discussion on the internet and TV that Judaism and Christianity have taken their beliefs from ancient Egypt, more specifically from the monotheistic Pharoah Akhenaten , Tutonkhamun’s Father.

So the short answer is still yes to whether there was an Afterlife for all before Jesus.

Note: There is an abundance of internet information about the various Afterlife Philosophers for those who would like to read about them in greater depth. Any number of search terms will yield many results.

Ah, the time of year when thoughts turn to romantic love with chocolates, flowers and gifts. This is all in celebration of romantic love. Will you be my Valentine? This can be heard as Cupid shoots his arrow of love. Click on the following link for the origins and practices of Valentine’s Day

This holiday makes me reflect on romantic relationships as they relate to soul mates and twin flames. I have a Soul Mates seminar that I do that explores and gives insights into our soul mates and twin flames. The seminar is valid all year ‘round. It’s just that this happens to be Valentine’s Day so I’ve been thinking about it. Some of the information from the seminar is discussed in this article. Also, one of the most asked questions during readings all year is about romantic relationships.

Often we are looking for love in all the wrong places for all the wrong reasons, with all the wrong people. For the women reading this, our knights in shining armor are really knights in rusting and disintegrating armor.

In my opinion men and women have an unrealistic idea of what relationships are. Once again, I have to point a finger at the media for instilling unrealistic expectations into people. The unrealistic expectations run the gamut from body types, behaviors, promiscuity, unfaithfulness….. Just tune into one of the so-called reality shows. Those shows are the furthest thing from reality there is.

True and lasting relationships are based on love, compatibility, having similar interests, being true friends, enjoying one another’s company. People who are together for a long time are there through thick and thin, and don’t abandon their partners/spouses when life’s challenges come along. And, they always do. People who really love each other find beauty in their spouse’s/partner’s appearance as they are and don’t try to change it. Not changing holds true for other things as well. No one can make another person over to suit them. We are who we are.

Passion is not love. So, if passion dies or changes and the relationship dies with it, then there was no real love there. Passion is a part of a relationship, not the whole.

Remember each of us deserves a quality relationship. Don’t settle for second best. I’ve had my share of clients who just want to be in a relationship at all costs. And, it has cost them quite a lot. They paid much too high a price to be in just any relationship. Some of the things that some of my clients have experienced are cheating partners, abandonment with small children, verbal and physical abuse. Try to keep in mind if you’re single and unhappy about it, there are worse things than being single! Think about a divorce rate of 50% give or take. And, that’s only counting marriages.

So Happy Valentine’s Day to absolutely everyone. Remember, you’re always someone’s Valentine!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. People are rushing around anguishing over what Christmas gifts to buy. The mall parking lots are jammed with short-tempered people. There’s a buying frenzy albeit subdued this year due to the economy. There are office parties to go to if you happen to work in an office.

Wikipedia has quite a lengthy Article on the origins of Santa Clause . It’s been quite a long historical journey from historical figure combined with ancient and modern myth or folklore.

St. Nicholas, a Byzantine Orthodox Bishop who lived in the ancient world in what is now Turkey which was part of the Byzantine Empire (as is described in the Wikipedia Article) was noted for his philanthropy and charitable works. I believe him to be the original Santa. While gift giving during this season is a ritual expression of our caring for friends and family, we should keep in mind the true meaning of the Christmas Season.

It’s about cherishing your family and friends, spending time with them and celebrating them. It is also about remembering those who are less fortunate than us, a time dedicated to focusing on them hopefully carrying that goodwill toward them throughout the rest of the year. My prayer is that humanitarianism is expressed through charitable deeds during this season. I believe these are true expressions of the Christ consciousness.

Let’s also not forget when we think of those who have gone before us into the Afterlife that they will draw near to us. This does not just happen at Christmas time. They always draw near when we think of them. Some cultures set a plate out at the dinner table on Christmas Eve symbolizing an invitation for those family in the Hereafter to join in. I certainly am very aware of those who have gone before at Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The more the merrier I always say.

This time of year makes me think on these things. Happy Holidays whatever you celebrate this time of year.

Oprah Winfrey’s announcement of her departure from network television marks the end of an era. It has made front-page news. She has truly been a woman of influence, a pioneer and a trailblazer. She is to be admired for her accomplishments.

Spiritually speaking, many of our decisions today create tomorrow’s outcomes. Different choices create different outcomes. Change a decision, change the outcome. Not everything in life is inflexible. Nor are we completely bound by Fate or Destiny.

My psychic impressions on Oprah’s choice to leave network television are: that she will loose the power to influence public opinion to the extent that she has with her show on the air; there will be instability and changes with her magazine O; as more time lapses from her departure from daytime television, Oprah will also have less influence in the political sphere. That’s not to say that Oprah Winfrey will not be a powerful person. She will always be powerful, but not in the same way.

The fact that Oprah was unable to positively influence the Olympic Committee demonstrates the power of constantly being on television, in the public eye . She was not on television where it would influence the Olympic Committee, so America lost it’s bid. Oprah’s television presence seems to have had no impact outside of North America. She doesn’t seem to have the same influence outside of the boundaries of where her show is televised. American President Barak Obama thought he was bringing a powerful influence with him, but that was not the case.

Rosie O’Donnell left her highly successful daytime talk show, pre the View. I had a psychic impression her influence would wane after she made that decision. And it did. She hasn’t had much public influence although still a celebrity.

Another celebrity whose popularity has almost disintegrated is controversial, shock radio personality Howard Stern. He did not have the power to take his listeners to Sirius paid radio. How many people really remember him now? I had the same psychic impression with him as with Rosie O’Donnell that his popularity would wane.

I’m only comparing the impact the widest scope of daily media exposure has for a celebrity or personality. Certainly, both Rosie O’Donnell and Oprah Winfrey are in a completely different category from Howard Stern in my opinion. I don’t see much value in what Howard Stern does from a spiritual perspective. That’s his choice and personal responsibility or Karma.

I do wish Oprah well as she continues on her life’s journey.
