While I’ve often said in many Blog posts that no one is immune from life or its lessons, including psychics and mediums, from time to time I do receive psychic and mediumistic insights from the spirit/spiritual realm on many topics and themes. However, conclusions shouldn’t be drawn that I receive these insights on anything and everything all the time. And, I have no magic wand or pill for life’s challenges that we all experience. I have said this many times. And, I can’t repeat it often enough. There are spiritual reasons for many of life’s challenges as I’ve also said many times throughout my Blog.

I will and have shared those insights that I have received when appropriate from those who dwell in the higher levels of consciousness or planes of existence. So what I’ve been doing is posting some of them on Twitter as my opinions (some I consider expert opinions), the very condensed versions at least. These psychic-mediumistic-spiritual insights do rightly fall under the heading of opinions I believe.

There have been many insights and inspirations that I have received from the Spirit World(a.k.a. Heaven, Afterlife) over the course of my Blog. Some are what I call universal insights in that one can relate to them regardless of the time frame. Others apply to specific times and topics. I believe there is quite a lot of helpful information that has been written so far and is still relevant today. I’ve been Blogging since 2006 (can hardly believe it myself) so there’s been quite an accumulation of information over approximately 4 years as of the date of this Blog post.

As I’m inspired and impressed from the Spirit World, I will continue to write Blog articles as I can expand on subjects using this format. Sometimes, condensed versions are more appropriate and timely where Twitter is more appropriate.

I invite you all to read through the Archives. I believe you’ll find something to interest you. If you have read my Articles/Posts regularly, I believe there will always be something that will stand out, a kind of “oh yeah!” or “I forgot about that” moment. I find I get different things out of material I’ve read before at different times. It depends on what resonates at the time I find.

Was there Eternal Life before Jesus is something to ponder? The short answer is yes. There are certain denominations of Christians who believe there was nothing before the coming of the Christ.

Christian Spiritualism’s perspective seems to be different. Christian Spiritualists while following the teachings of the Christ, believing that He was the greatest Medium that ever was, do not necessarily believe that there was a void where everything was in limbo before Christ’s coming. The Universe has always had a natural order with God (whatever term you prefer to use), an omnipotent presence governing through Natural Law. This Natural Law is infinite. Human beings are the only ones that have placed God in a narrow box. Humanity has found it very difficult to think outside the box. Hence, we have had philosophers who have done it for humans throughout the ages.

The Universe operates on Natural Laws, God’s laws if you will. Some laws we know and understand. Others are beyond our comprehension. Space exploration and powerful telescopes have expanded our horizons and knowledge exponentially, as has Quantum Physics. Many have embraced the knowledge. Still many others live in the past, in denial and deliberate ignorance. The Universe has always been there in a time and space continuum beyond our comprehension. It is now being revealed to us as it has been in the past, the information being lost in time.

God would never allow any life form on Earth to vanish into nothingness either before or after the teachings of Jesus. Everything has its place in the Universe. Once our earthly journey is over, every living creature has a place in Heaven or the Afterlife. One’s place in Heaven or the Afterlife has always depended upon true spiritual qualities expressed in one’s life. Someone who has been good and kind, not through words, but actual deeds finds themselves in a higher level of existence or consciousness. One can have a lot of money, cars and possessions. That, however, will not give access to the higher planes in Heaven or the Afterlife. Those that have lived their lives negatively, violently, maliciously will find themselves with those at that level in the Afterlife. A mention should be made that if an individual’s bad conduct/character in life is a result of a physical disease such as fetal alcohol syndrome, brain disease/malfunction, their place in the Afterlife is determined absent of physical disease. These persons are treated differently. The Law of Cause and Effect or Karma plays a large role in determining life here in the physical as well as life in the hereafter.

There is a place for all animals, birds and underwater animals in Heaven as well. The focus of this Article will be on human beings, however.

As the door to reformation is never closed, everyone has a chance to redeem themselves as many times as necessary via reincarnation. This is truly a chance to get it right regardless how many incarnations are required. The Universe is one of justice so many individuals live lives of atonement with the opportunity for redemption by demonstrating acts of goodness to offset the bad if you will. As previously mentioned, the concept of Natural Law of Cause and Effect comes into play here. Or to put it another way, the Bible expresses it as sowing and reaping.

A few examples of Civilizations who believed, spoke and wrote about the existence of the Afterlife were ancient Greek Philosophers such as: Plato , Socrates and Pythagoras (some Spiritualists refer to these philosophers as the first spiritualists); ancient Egyptians who as we know went to great lengths to prepare for the Afterlife; ancient Chinese and Vietnamese peoples paid homage to their ancestors during Confucius’ time, a practice still performed today in some places in China; the Hindu religion with special mention of the Vedas (re: ancestors) also speaks at length about the order of the Universe, the Afterlife and Ancestors; Native Aboriginal Peoples of North America have diverse Afterlife beliefs as in the Iroquois and Dakota nations. All of the examples just mentioned predate Jesus and Modern Spiritualism for that matter by hundreds to thousands of years.

As time has passed and civilizations have co-mingled, it would seem that humans have incorporated many belief systems into current and past philosophies. There is even a discussion on the internet and TV that Judaism and Christianity have taken their beliefs from ancient Egypt, more specifically from the monotheistic Pharoah Akhenaten , Tutonkhamun’s Father.

So the short answer is still yes to whether there was an Afterlife for all before Jesus.

This holiday makes me reflect on romantic relationships as they relate to soul mates and twin flames. I have a Soul Mates seminar that I do that explores and gives insights into our soul mates and twin flames. The seminar is valid all year ‘round. It’s just that this happens to be Valentine’s Day so I’ve been thinking about it. Some of the information from the seminar is discussed in this article. Also, one of the most asked questions during readings all year is about romantic relationships.

Often we are looking for love in all the wrong places for all the wrong reasons, with all the wrong people. For the women reading this, our knights in shining armor are really knights in rusting and disintegrating armor.

In my opinion men and women have an unrealistic idea of what relationships are. Once again, I have to point a finger at the media for instilling unrealistic expectations into people. The unrealistic expectations run the gamut from body types, behaviors, promiscuity, unfaithfulness….. Just tune into one of the so-called reality shows. Those shows are the furthest thing from reality there is.

True and lasting relationships are based on love, compatibility, having similar interests, being true friends, enjoying one another’s company. People who are together for a long time are there through thick and thin, and don’t abandon their partners/spouses when life’s challenges come along. And, they always do. People who really love each other find beauty in their spouse’s/partner’s appearance as they are and don’t try to change it. Not changing holds true for other things as well. No one can make another person over to suit them. We are who we are.

Passion is not love. So, if passion dies or changes and the relationship dies with it, then there was no real love there. Passion is a part of a relationship, not the whole.

Remember each of us deserves a quality relationship. Don’t settle for second best. I’ve had my share of clients who just want to be in a relationship at all costs. And, it has cost them quite a lot. They paid much too high a price to be in just any relationship. Some of the things that some of my clients have experienced are cheating partners, abandonment with small children, verbal and physical abuse. Try to keep in mind if you’re single and unhappy about it, there are worse things than being single! Think about a divorce rate of 50% give or take. And, that’s only counting marriages.

So Happy Valentine’s Day to absolutely everyone. Remember, you’re always someone’s Valentine!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. People are rushing around anguishing over what Christmas gifts to buy. The mall parking lots are jammed with short-tempered people. There’s a buying frenzy albeit subdued this year due to the economy. There are office parties to go to if you happen to work in an office.

Wikipedia has quite a lengthy Article on the origins of Santa Clause . It’s been quite a long historical journey from historical figure combined with ancient and modern myth or folklore.

St. Nicholas, a Byzantine Orthodox Bishop who lived in the ancient world in what is now Turkey which was part of the Byzantine Empire (as is described in the Wikipedia Article) was noted for his philanthropy and charitable works. I believe him to be the original Santa. While gift giving during this season is a ritual expression of our caring for friends and family, we should keep in mind the true meaning of the Christmas Season.

It’s about cherishing your family and friends, spending time with them and celebrating them. It is also about remembering those who are less fortunate than us, a time dedicated to focusing on them hopefully carrying that goodwill toward them throughout the rest of the year. My prayer is that humanitarianism is expressed through charitable deeds during this season. I believe these are true expressions of the Christ consciousness.

Let’s also not forget when we think of those who have gone before us into the Afterlife that they will draw near to us. This does not just happen at Christmas time. They always draw near when we think of them. Some cultures set a plate out at the dinner table on Christmas Eve symbolizing an invitation for those family in the Hereafter to join in. I certainly am very aware of those who have gone before at Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The more the merrier I always say.

This time of year makes me think on these things. Happy Holidays whatever you celebrate this time of year.

Oprah Winfrey’s announcement of her departure from network television marks the end of an era. It has made front-page news. She has truly been a woman of influence, a pioneer and a trailblazer. She is to be admired for her accomplishments.

Spiritually speaking, many of our decisions today create tomorrow’s outcomes. Different choices create different outcomes. Change a decision, change the outcome. Not everything in life is inflexible. Nor are we completely bound by Fate or Destiny.

My psychic impressions on Oprah’s choice to leave network television are: that she will loose the power to influence public opinion to the extent that she has with her show on the air; there will be instability and changes with her magazine O; as more time lapses from her departure from daytime television, Oprah will also have less influence in the political sphere. That’s not to say that Oprah Winfrey will not be a powerful person. She will always be powerful, but not in the same way.

The fact that Oprah was unable to positively influence the Olympic Committee demonstrates the power of constantly being on television, in the public eye . She was not on television where it would influence the Olympic Committee, so America lost it’s bid. Oprah’s television presence seems to have had no impact outside of North America. She doesn’t seem to have the same influence outside of the boundaries of where her show is televised. American President Barak Obama thought he was bringing a powerful influence with him, but that was not the case.

Rosie O’Donnell left her highly successful daytime talk show, pre the View. I had a psychic impression her influence would wane after she made that decision. And it did. She hasn’t had much public influence although still a celebrity.

Another celebrity whose popularity has almost disintegrated is controversial, shock radio personality Howard Stern. He did not have the power to take his listeners to Sirius paid radio. How many people really remember him now? I had the same psychic impression with him as with Rosie O’Donnell that his popularity would wane.

I’m only comparing the impact the widest scope of daily media exposure has for a celebrity or personality. Certainly, both Rosie O’Donnell and Oprah Winfrey are in a completely different category from Howard Stern in my opinion. I don’t see much value in what Howard Stern does from a spiritual perspective. That’s his choice and personal responsibility or Karma.

I do wish Oprah well as she continues on her life’s journey.

Each one of us through meditation and practice can develop as a Medium. This means that each of us can communicate with those on the Other Side or the Afterlife. For the right intentioned individual, this means linking with their loved ones but also with the Infinite.

It means that one can alleviate much of the pain and suffering accompanying the loss of a loved one. It can bring more meaning and understanding to life as it relates to the greater scheme of things. It can teach us what is really important in life. One can still keep in touch with those in the Afterlife. It also provides proof via mediumship that there is an Afterlife.

As I said, each one of us has the ability to be a medium or a psychic for that matter. For those who don’t have the right motivation, it can be a frustrating and unfulfilling pursuit. What holds people back consists of a few things. Having the motivation to be a help to someone and to do good will attract the higher evolved Spirits. The opposite will occur if you are motivated by greed, cheating etc. Being badly motivated will also trigger the Laws of Cause and Effect (Karma) and Attraction(as you are so you attract) to take effect.

Many people think that becoming a Medium will make them immune from life’s challenges. Many also think that they will be able to channel winning lottery numbers. That is not the case I’m afraid. You’ll win the lottery if you’re destined to do so, not because you’re a Medium. Nor is it the case that mediumship will cure all the world’s ills. Everyone is on their own path, growing at a pace that’s necessary for them. One can, however, have many things in life so long as they don’t interfere with an individual’s spiritual growth.

Many people also think that their mediumship will bring through profound knowledge. That may or may not happen. The wisdom teachers throughout the ages have already brought the information through. Humanity as a general rule is not following it. I’m speaking about the Golden Rule. However, genuine mediumship will bring through information that is helpful and beneficial to the recipient of the communication. It can help make life a little easier.

Something I can tell you is that loved ones from the Afterlife don’t talk about material things they miss. They talk about love and positive emotions and sometimes regrets about how they’ve interacted with those they’ve left behind. They may regret: that they didn’t spend enough time with you when you were a child; that they were unkind to you; that they didn’t tell you they were proud of you; or they didn’t tell you they loved you enough. Those are the things that are important, not unbounded greed and materialism.

Another area that hinders proper psychic and medium development is holding onto old notions, misconceptions and erroneous information about how this is done. One of the biggest mistakes anyone can make is to visualize and believe that a visualization that your own mind has created is either a message from a loved one from the Afterlife or some psychic prediction or answer. Visualize enough and a delusion is created, not a spiritual experience.

Visualization is pervasive in most psychic-medium development classes. It’s been going on for as long as I can remember. One of the reasons there are very few really accurate psychic-mediums in my opinion is this pervasiveness of visualizing. My Spirit Guides do not recommend it.

I did a little research after receiving guidance against visualization being equated with mediumship and psychic phenomena. The historical books that I researched on how to develop psychic-medium abilities do not talk about visualization as a means of development of those abilities. There may be other sources that recommend visualizing. But, it seems like this is today’s and modern day, I want it instantly solution.

Let’s talk about the good old Ego. In my travels I have seen too many people who purport to be mediums who talk endlessly when doing public messages. They’ll go on for 15 minutes giving their own advice to someone passing it off as a psychic medium message.

Then of course, there are those who pass off what the current book they’re reading about the latest spiritual fad as messages. This also applies to whatever someone is interested in at the time and foisting it upon a seeker as if it were coming from the Spirits. No one’s perfect, but it’s sad when people come up to you in various venues and say you’re the only one who’s ever given me an accurate message.

Finally, it’s up to each individual to be a good student. No one waves a magic wand and transforms you into an accurate psychic-medium. If you do not apply yourself, learn, practice….. You get the idea.

All my classes and workshops teach how to overcome what I’ve been talking about. I teach how to recognize a real communication, not something that one has either created or random thoughts that are floating around in a very busy mind. I am very particular about making sure students recognize what is and what is not a psychic-medium communication/experience. I also provide students with a methodology to verify the accuracy of what they receive. A good teacher always corrects and guides the student. A good student listens and learns with an open mind.

It’s only through careful study and practice along with the right motivation that we become good, accurate and compassionate psychic-mediums.

Our lives were intertwined and we were very close all of her life. My Mother was a loving, genuine, generous and courageous person having survived world events that most of us only see on the news.

Roses were my Mother’s favorite flowers, hence the heart shaped roses here.

I was blessed to have had her in my life for so long. One of the nicest things that anyone has ever said to me was that I was my Mother’s Guardian Angel. Now Heaven has a new Angel who visits me from there.

The entire world is in a hysterical frenzy at the moment. Expressions of grief are pouring in from fans that are complete strangers. I am always saddened by any loss, any pain, any grief or misfortune suffered by anyone. However, I find this hysterical grieving from fans for someone who amounts to be a perfect stranger and pedophile somewhat perplexing. Good, decent people suffer and die every day. I believe this hysteria over a famous or should I say infamous person’s death diminishes the average decent persons’ lives. Where are the hysterical outcries over their deaths?

So, what’s happening with Michael Jackson in the Afterlife? I would ask that you reflect on a few of quotes: “You can’t take it with you”; and “As men we are all equal in the presence of death” Publilius Syrus. I posted the quote by Publilius Syrus on Twitter last night.

Other quotes and concepts to reflect on are “As ye sow, so shall ye reap,” from the Bible (also called the Law of Cause and Effect in Spiritualism) and Karma from Eastern Religions. Try to keep all the above quotes in mind when reading the next paragraphs.

Michael is most likely adjusting to his new surroundings, which I’m sure are quite a surprise to him. When we make the transition to the Afterlife or Other Side, we arrive in a place that reflects the type of person we were in our physical lives. Our place in the Afterlife or Other Side really reflects our character, personality and how we lived our lives. We are stripped bare of our materialistic trappings. All physical illnesses are left behind. If some brain dysfunction caused Michael’s bizarre behavior, that will have disappeared on the Other Side. The true self will have been exposed.

Michael Jackson, like most people will have to adjust to life on the Other Side. Michael will always have the opportunity to progress in the Afterlife. And, if he wishes, he will make contact with his loved ones who have been left behind, either through dreams, impressions or perhaps even Mediums. Getting back to the frenzy surrounding Michael Jackson’s death, I would suggest that people use a little common sense. I would go so far as to say step back and take a reality check. There are others who have gone before Michael Jackson with the same amount of sensationalism only to fade from memory and notoriety. Remember Anna Nicole….. who?

Back in September of 2006, my first Blog post was “Life Happens Don’t Shoot the Messenger”. I feel it’s time to revisit this subject. And I think that anyone who wants to know my views on appointments with me and what I can and can’t do for them should read or re-read that Article. Anyone thinking of contacting me for an appointment should also click on the About Us page on my main website.

Unlike some psychic mediums, I do not make promises I cannot keep. I certainly don’t make outlandish claims about what I can or will do. I have turned potential clients down because I know that I would never meet their expectations. I also know that for some potential clients, there is no re-educating them. An appointment would be an unpleasant, frustrating exercise in futility for me. And certainly, there would be a block put up to any information that is brought through from any loved ones or Spirit Guides in the Afterlife. The same reaction would take place with any other information that came through during an appointment. Of course, the Messenger would be “shot” because of the information not meeting the seeker’s desires.

This brings me to another aspect of potential client expectations. That is individuals contacting every psychic-medium they can to see whether they’ll make promises that the seeker wants made. Unfortunately for the seeker, those expectations are never met by those making outlandish claims. So, it’s on to the next psychic-medium.

Then there are those individuals who want psychic-medium messages about some pretty trivial subjects. Sometimes, they go so far as wanting me to “tune in” to someone they’re having problems with to find out what’s being said about them. This indicates to me that an individual has a co-dependency problem with psychic-mediums. Or they are addicted to readings. One could go so far as to call them psychic junkies. There are references about that term on the Internet. For those interested in learning more about the term, just perform an Internet search.

I have had “friends” call and ask me where to find items they have misplaced repeatedly. I’ve also had “friends” invite me over for dinner only to find that I have to “perform” for my supper. Needless to say, I don’t maintain a “friendship” with those folks for long. What’s interesting is they feel such a sense of entitlement. They don’t understand that what they’re doing is using another person.

It’s unfortunate sometimes we need a reminder to be respectful. And we need to be reminded that the Messenger is not responsible for what does or does not happen in a seeker’s life. I consider myself a professional. I am a Minister as well. I take my work very seriously. It’s very important for me to maintain my professionalism and self-respect. Some things may have come across as a little harsh. But, I felt this needed to be said.
